Flow, the co-living startup founded by former WeWork CEO Adam Neumann, opens a 238-unit furnished apartment complex in Saudi Arabia with rents starting at $3,500 a month. The property features hotel-style services and unique amenities as the company expands its global footprint.

Adam Neumann’s co-living startup Flow opens a 238-apartment compound in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, offering furnished units with rents that start at $3,500 a month. The property provides hotel-style services such as laundry and housekeeping, alongside amenities like pools, co-ed gyms, and bowling alleys. The opening event features an Aztec-themed hot chocolate ceremony and tote bags printed with the phrase "holy s— I’m alive."

Flow is expanding rapidly in the Saudi capital and is currently building three additional properties that will add nearly 1,000 apartments to the market. These new developments follow the company's first openings in Fort Lauderdale and Miami in April, though those earlier locations offer fewer luxury amenities than the new Riyadh complex.

The company's ambitious growth is backed by a massive $350 million investment from Andreessen Horowitz raised in 2022. This funding raises eyebrows in the tech industry due to Neumann's problematic history with his previous venture, WeWork, which was once valued at $47 billion before filing for bankruptcy last year and ultimately selling to real estate group Yardi for just $450 million.
