Adobe XD Introduces Voice Prototyping and Plugin Support
Adobe XD unveils voice triggers, speech playback, and auto-animate features at Adobe MAX, making it the first platform to combine screen and voice prototyping in one app.
Adobe XD introduces a major update at Adobe MAX that brings voice prototyping capabilities to the platform. Designers now create voice triggers and use speech playback directly within the app, making XD the first UX/UI tool to seamlessly combine screen and voice prototyping in a single environment.
The new auto-animate feature allows users to build immersive transitions between artboards with simple controls. This combination of voice and animation tools enables designers to build high-fidelity prototypes for web, mobile, and voice-assisted devices like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
Adobe also opens the XD platform to third-party plugins, letting developers integrate new tools and automate tasks directly inside the application. Users access these plugins alongside UI kits and app integrations to customize their workflow and extend the capabilities of the software.
