AI Earth Innovation Challenge Promotes Smart Weather and Ocean Forecasting

The 2021 "AI Earth" Artificial Intelligence Innovation Challenge brings together global experts to improve weather and ocean forecasting through smart technology. Organized by WMO RTC Nanjing and the International Association of Meteorological Education and Sciences (IAMES), the initiative highlights the growing role of artificial intelligence in meteorology.

Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology (NUIST) advocates for this international consortium, which receives strong support from over 30 universities and institutes. These institutions specialize in atmospheric science, hydrology, environmental science, and other meteorology-related disciplines to drive collaborative innovation.
