Snowflake currently uses Claude extensively for its own internal operations to boost productivity. Claude Code helps Snowflake engineers innovate faster, while a Claude-powered sales assistant built on Snowflake Intelligence allows sales teams to centralize data and ask questions in natural language to speed up deal cycles. Thousands of Snowflake customers already process trillions of Claude tokens per month through the Snowflake Cortex AI platform.
The next phase of this partnership centers on deploying AI agents that handle complex, multi-step analysis by combining Claude's advanced reasoning with Snowflake's secure data environment. Business users simply ask questions in plain English, and Claude determines what data is needed, pulls it from the company's Snowflake environment, and delivers highly accurate answers.
