Anthropic introduces Claude Design, a new Anthropic Labs product that enables users to collaborate with Claude to generate polished visual work. Powered by the most capable vision model, Claude Opus 4.7, this research preview allows Claude Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise subscribers to create designs, prototypes, slides, and one-pagers through simple conversational prompts.
The tool gives experienced designers the freedom to explore multiple creative directions without spending hours on manual work, while it empowers non-designers like founders and product managers to produce professional visual assets. Users simply describe what they need, and Claude generates a first version that they refine through conversation, inline comments, direct edits, or custom sliders.
Claude Design automatically applies a team's specific design system to every project to ensure brand consistency, learning from existing codebases and design files during onboarding. Teams currently use the tool to build interactive prototypes, sketch product wireframes, generate on-brand pitch decks exportable as PPTX files, create marketing collateral, and develop advanced code-powered prototypes featuring 3D, shaders, and built-in AI.
