The company reports that its run-rate revenue surpasses $47 billion as enterprises and everyday users increasingly integrate Claude into their core operations.
The company plans to direct the new funding toward three primary areas: advancing safety and interpretability research, expanding compute infrastructure to meet historic demand, and scaling its products and partnerships. Chief Financial Officer Krishna Rao emphasizes that tools like Claude Code and Cowork become increasingly indispensable to customers, and this capital ensures Anthropic stays at the forefront of AI research while adapting to user needs.
To support this massive scale, Anthropic secures unprecedented computing power through new agreements with tech giants. The company signs deals for up to five gigawatts of new capacity with Amazon, five gigawatts of next-generation TPU capacity with Google and Broadcom, and access to GPU capacity in SpaceX's Colossus 1 and 2.
