Apple Celebrates International Women's Day With Over 5,000 In-Store Sessions

Apple honors International Women's Day by hosting thousands of "She Creates" sessions in retail stores and highlighting female creators across its digital platforms throughout March.

Apple celebrates International Women’s Day throughout March by hosting over 5,000 "She Creates" sessions at its retail stores. These "Today at Apple" events highlight female leaders, artists, and entrepreneurs, with more than 100 sessions led by notable figures like Linda Sarsour, Meghan Trainor, and Victoria Monét. Participants also have the opportunity to engage in special Music Labs featuring the music of Alicia Keys and Art Labs inspired by female illustrators from around the world.

Beyond its physical stores, Apple highlights female creators across its digital platforms with curated content for Women's History Month. The App Store features a daily App of the Day and Game of the Day that spotlight female developers, designers, and entrepreneurs, complete with a special badge on the Today tab. Featured apps include the investing platform Ellevest and the podcast network app Seneca Women, alongside editorial content that celebrates women in app and game development.

The Apple TV app joins the celebration by offering curated collections that highlight women's contributions to film and television, such as "Bold New Voices" and "Women Directing Women." Apple also provides extended free trials to streaming services like Starz, BritBox, and Lifetime Movie Club so customers can explore female-focused shows and movies. Additional celebrations extend to Apple Podcasts, Apple Books, and the Apple Watch to round out the company's month-long recognition of women.
