iPadOS 16 represents a massive leap forward for the tablet by finally introducing proper external display support and the Stage Manager windowing system. This update allows users to run up to eight applications simultaneously, while a new virtual memory swap feature utilizes SSD storage to provide apps with more memory. Additionally, the iPad gains a native Weather app, desktop-class app capabilities, and improved display scaling options for better multitasking.
