Arize AI secures $19 million in Series A funding led by Battery Ventures to scale its machine learning observability platform. The company plans to use the capital for product development and team expansion as it experiences rapid enterprise growth.
Arize AI secures $19 million in a Series A funding round led by Battery Ventures to expand its machine learning observability platform. Existing investors Foundation Capital, Trinity Ventures, The House Fund, and Swift Ventures also participate in this financial boost. The funding arrives just over a year after the company emerged from stealth with a $4 million seed round.
The startup operates as the first ML observability platform designed to help machine learning models function effectively in production. Its technology monitors, explains, and troubleshoots model and data issues, allowing companies to detect performance and bias problems within 30 days of integration. Without such visibility, businesses struggle to ensure their automated decision-making models remain accountable, fair, and responsible in real-world applications.
Arize already attracts major enterprise customers like Adobe and Twilio across sectors such as fintech, healthcare, and retail while experiencing 100% annual recurring revenue growth. The company plans to direct the new capital toward product development, expanding into additional industries, and growing its 40-person team. Co-founded by former TubeMogul executive Jason Lopatecki and former Uber ML lead Aparna Dhinakaran, Arize aims to put its solution into more hands as demand surges.
