AWS Expands Generative AI Access and Boosts OpenSearch Security Features

AWS Control Tower significantly enhances its governance capabilities this week by releasing 22 proactive controls and 10 detective controls for AWS Security Hub. Amazon OpenSearch Service now supports version 2.9, bringing major improvements to search, observability, and security analytics. The upgrade includes expanded geospatial aggregations for better data pattern recognition and new integrations that support OpenTelemetry schema standards for seamless alert and anomaly overlay on dashboards. Additionally, Amazon SageMaker Feature Store introduces a fully managed, in-memory online store powered by ElastiCache for Redis to deliver real-time feature retrieval for high-throughput machine learning applications.
