AWS Unveils Generative AI Tools to Accelerate App Development at New York Summit
AWS announces a suite of new generative AI tools, including AWS App Studio and Amazon Q Apps, designed to help users build applications faster regardless of their coding expertise.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) unveils a range of new generative AI tools at its New York Summit to help users build applications faster and with greater ease. VP of AI products Dr. Matt Wood highlights that AWS currently offers more than twice the number of generally available machine learning and generative AI features than other major cloud providers combined. These new tools aim to eliminate mundane tasks so workers can focus on creative and innovative projects.
One major announcement is AWS App Studio, a generative AI-powered, low-code service that allows non-developers like IT project managers and data engineers to build secure business applications in minutes. Additionally, AWS introduces Amazon Q Apps, which makes generative AI accessible to everyone, and integrates Amazon Q Developer into Amazon SageMaker Studio to save data scientists weeks or even months of work.
Amazon Bedrock also receives new features that make it faster and easier to build and deploy generative AI applications at scale. Alongside these technological updates, AWS continues to prioritize education by training over 31 million people on cloud computing and expanding its AI certification portfolio to meet the growing demand for validated AI expertise in the workforce.
