The newly updated White House website immediately implements new features focused on digital inclusivity and accessibility. Visitors submitting messages through the official contact form now see options to select gender-inclusive pronouns like "they/them" and gender-neutral prefixes such as "Mx."
LGBTQ advocacy organization GLAAD praises this addition, noting that recognizing pronouns significantly impacts the health and wellbeing of LGBTQ youth. The group highlights that this change sharply contrasts with the previous administration, which removed mentions of the LGBTQ community from the site at the start of its term.
The revamped site also restores "La Casa Blanca," the official Spanish-language version of the White House website. While earlier administrations maintained a Spanish-language presence online, the Trump administration takes the site offline, making its return a notable priority for the new administration.
