Bing Raises Chat Limits After User Feedback on AI Restrictions

Microsoft increases Bing chat session limits to six turns per session and sixty total chats per day. The company also plans to introduce tone controls for more precise or creative responses.

Microsoft increases the chat limits for its new Bing AI following immediate user feedback. After initially capping conversations at five turns per session and fifty per day to prevent model confusion, the company now allows six turns per session and sixty total chats daily based on tester input.

The Bing team plans to raise the daily limit even further to one hundred total chats in the near future. Additionally, standard web searches no longer count against the daily chat total, giving users more freedom to use the search engine naturally without sacrificing their AI conversations.

A new tone selection feature is also entering the testing phase to give users greater control over the AI. This setting lets users choose between precise answers for focused search tasks, balanced responses for general use, or creative outputs for longer and more conversational interactions.
