Boon Raises $20.5M to Bring Agentic AI to Fragmented Fleet Operations

Startup Boon secures $20.5 million in funding to build AI agents that streamline back-office tasks for logistics and fleet companies. The platform integrates data from up to 20 fragmented applications to significantly boost operational efficiency.

Boon raises $20.5 million in a combined seed and Series A funding round led by Marathon and Redpoint to tackle inefficiencies in the logistics sector. The startup builds agentic AI tools that act as a digital teammate in the back office, allowing fleet operators to focus on revenue-generating tasks rather than getting bogged down by administrative work.

The global logistics market relies on more than 60 million fleet vehicles, but the small and medium-sized enterprises operating them struggle with heavily fragmented software. Companies typically juggle 15 to 20 different applications for accounting, routing, sales, and human resources, alongside physical paperwork, creating massive data silos that slow down daily operations.

Boon integrates these scattered data sources to optimize current revenue and operations workflows, such as building efficient routing and finding optimal fueling locations. With the new capital, the company plans to expand its AI capabilities to handle additional challenges like container loading and staffing optimization, ultimately delivering the unified platform that fleet managers demand.
