The use of Carbon's Digital Manufacturing Platform reduces the time to production by 12 weeks compared to traditional manufacturing tools. The 3D-printed components use EPX 82 material and pass rigorous stress tests, proving their reliability for high-performance vehicles.
Lamborghini's CTO notes that the technology allows the company to move from an initial concept to a show car part in just three weeks, with full production starting three months later. Under new CEO Ellen Kullman, Carbon focuses on deepening existing partnerships like this one with Lamborghini rather than rushing into new agreements.
