CES 2023 Returns to Las Vegas with Strong Global Presence

The Consumer Electronics Show welcomes 100,000 attendees back to Las Vegas, featuring thousands of exhibitors from around the world. The event highlights how technology addresses worldwide challenges, with a strong focus on digital health, transportation, and the metaverse.

The Consumer Electronics Show returns fully to Las Vegas, welcoming approximately 100,000 attendees after two difficult years of pandemic disruptions. While this number remains about 40% lower than the 2020 pre-pandemic figures, it represents a significant rebound compared to the digital and hybrid formats of the previous two years. The event demonstrates a strong recovery for the trade show industry as participants gather in person once again.

International participation makes up a major portion of the event, with about one-third of attendees traveling from outside the United States. Of the estimated 3,200 exhibitors showcasing their latest innovations, over 1,400 come from abroad, representing 43% of the total vendor floor. This diverse global presence underscores the worldwide importance of the technology trade show.

Exhibitors from various regions highlight homegrown innovations designed to address global challenges, with specific pavilions dedicated to African and Ukrainian tech firms. Hundreds of Chinese companies also maintain a pronounced presence at the convention despite recent travel requirements. Throughout the expansive show floor, key themes such as digital health, transportation technology, and the metaverse take center stage as industries look toward the future.
