Dataminr Raises $475M to Reach $4.1B Valuation

Dataminr secures $475 million in new funding, pushing its company valuation to $4.1 billion. The capital will drive corporate enterprise growth, international expansion, and AI platform enhancements.

Dataminr closes a $475 million financing round that brings its total valuation to $4.1 billion. A group of prominent investors, including Eldridge, Valor Equity Partners, and Morgan Stanley Tactical Value, provides the financial backing for this major milestone. The real-time information discovery platform plans to use this influx of capital to accelerate the rapid growth of its corporate enterprise business line.

The company's corporate revenue doubles for the third consecutive year as more than half of the Fortune 50 currently rely on Dataminr. Clients expand their use of the platform across physical security, crisis management, business intelligence, and cyber threat detection. To meet this surging global demand, Dataminr will invest heavily in internationalization by expanding its public and private sector sales footprint across Europe and the Asia-Pacific regions.

This new funding also supports the continuous expansion of Dataminr's leading AI Platform. The system currently performs trillions of daily computations by analyzing billions of public data inputs from over 100,000 unique sources. Moving forward, the company will integrate additional global data sources, including social media, audio transmissions, the dark web, and public IoT sensors, to maintain its edge in detecting emerging events ahead of other sources.
