The deal gives Lilly the rights to develop, manufacture, and commercialize several of Insilico's preclinical AI-discovered oral therapeutic candidates.
Insilico CEO Alex Zhavoronkov praises Lilly extensively, calling the pharmaceutical giant the absolute best partner for these specific disease areas. He notes that Insilico recently updated its pipeline webpage to show that an AI-discovered candidate targeting GLP-1 is now out-licensed to an undisclosed partner, which aligns with this new agreement.

Zhavoronkov, who personally uses Lilly's blockbuster drug Mounjaro, expresses strong enthusiasm about the collaboration and his company's role in developing the next generation of innovative treatments.
