WorkFusion raises $220 million to expand its intelligent automation platform, bringing its total funding to over $300 million. The startup combines pre-trained AI bots with management tools to help highly regulated industries cut manual processing times in half.
Enterprise automation startup WorkFusion secures a $220 million late-stage funding round led by investment firm Georgian, bringing its total raised capital to more than $300 million. The company provides an intelligent automation platform that combines robotic process automation with artificial intelligence to streamline manual business tasks. This technology primarily serves the financial sector and other highly regulated industries that require efficient and accurate data processing.
The WorkFusion platform relies on a catalog of pre-trained AI bots that allow organizations to deploy automated workflows within just a few weeks. Banks use these bots to review loan requests, while healthcare organizations utilize them to process patient records, cutting the time required for these tasks by more than half. An included AI workbench allows developers to further customize these bots using proprietary company data to suit specific operational needs.
Beyond basic task execution, WorkFusion equips enterprises with tools to identify automatable processes and monitor ongoing workflows. The platform continuously improves its performance through a cloud-federated learning system where individual bots share their learned insights with the broader network. Major enterprises such as Deutsche Bank, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and Humana currently trust WorkFusion to power their back-office automation initiatives.
