Enterprise Software and AI Dominate This Week's Largest Venture Funding Rounds

Startup investors pour hundreds of millions into leading companies, with Ramp securing a massive $750 million round. Enterprise software, artificial intelligence, and space tech emerge as the top-funded sectors.

Startup investors demonstrate a highly spendy mood this week by backing more than a dozen rounds in the multiple hundreds of millions. The largest round goes to Ramp, a New York-based spend-management platform, which closes a $750 million financing led by Iconiq, GIC, and Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan. This massive investment sets a remarkable $44 billion valuation for the seven-year-old finance software company.

Three companies tie for the second-largest rounds at $500 million each, spanning the space tech, developer tools, and foundational AI sectors. Impulse Space raises its round for orbital transport systems, while AI-focused developer platform Supabase hits a $10.5 billion valuation. Additionally, Flourish secures $500 million in initial funding to build artificial intelligence models inspired by the human brain, backed by notable investors including Jeff Bezos and Google Ventures.

Other significant megadeals highlight strong interest in deep tech and frontier science. Helion picks up $465 million in Series G funding to advance its mission of building the world's first fusion power plant, reaching a $15.5 billion valuation. The funding frenzy extends to the biotech space as well, with NewLimit raising $435 million to develop longevity medicines, proving that venture capital continues to flow heavily into ambitious, high-growth industries.
