The core philosophy behind Figure 03 focuses on shifting from one-off engineering models to an assembly-line-ready product. Figure achieves this through its new BotQ manufacturing facility, which currently produces up to 12,000 robots annually with a long-term goal of building 100,000 units over the next four years. By replacing costly CNC machining with efficient processes like die-casting and injection molding, the company dramatically lowers unit costs and solves the scalability issues that plague the robotics industry.
At the heart of Figure 03 is Helix, an in-house artificial intelligence platform that Figure develops after ending its collaboration with OpenAI.
