Figure Unveils Third-Generation Humanoid Robot Built for Mass Production

Figure reveals Figure 03, a completely redesigned humanoid robot engineered specifically for their Helix AI system, home environments, and high-volume manufacturing. The new model features major upgrades to its vision system, tactile hands, and overall safety.

Figure introduces Figure 03, its third-generation humanoid robot built from the ground up for the Helix vision-language-action AI, home use, and mass manufacturing. The company completely redesigns the hardware and software to create a truly general-purpose robot that performs human-like tasks and learns directly from people. By establishing a new supply chain and manufacturing process at BotQ, Figure positions this model for global scale.

The new robot features a next-generation vision system that delivers twice the frame rate, a 60% wider field of view, and a quarter of the latency compared to previous models. Each hand integrates an embedded palm camera to provide close-range visual feedback during grasps, allowing Helix to maintain visual awareness even when the main cameras face obstructions. These upgrades give the AI a denser and more stable perceptual stream for navigating cluttered spaces.

Figure 03 also includes several features tailored specifically for home environments, such as soft goods, wireless charging, an improved audio system for voice reasoning, and advanced battery safety mechanisms. Softer, more adaptive fingertips on the newly designed hands increase surface contact for better manipulation. Ultimately, these hardware and software advancements combine to lower manufacturing costs and bring significant benefits to commercial applications worldwide.
