Google Assistant Debuts Flight Check-In and Hotel Booking at CES

Google Assistant introduces new voice-activated travel features at CES 2019 that allow users to check in for flights and book hotels using simple voice commands. United Airlines is the first airline to offer this voice-enabled check-in service for domestic travelers, allowing passengers to simply say "Hey Google, check in to my flight" to begin the process.
Hotel booking capabilities are now available through major partners including Choice Hotels, AccorHotels, InterContinental, Priceline, Expedia, Mirai, and Travelclick on both Android and iOS devices. These new additions represent a significant expansion of Google's travel ecosystem and make everyday travel tasks much more accessible for users on the go.
These updates are part of a broader set of travel features that includes the new Interpreter Mode, which provides real-time translation for 27 languages. Google is currently demonstrating this translation tool at hotel concierge desks before a wider rollout, though advanced features like flight rebooking and seat changes are not yet supported through the voice assistant.
