Google Bard Expands Gemini Pro Globally and Adds Image Creation

Google expands access to Gemini Pro within Bard to over 40 languages and more than 230 countries and territories. This upgrade gives users globally access to Bard's advanced understanding, reasoning, summarizing, and coding abilities. Recent third-party evaluations recognize Bard with Gemini Pro as one of the top-performing conversational AIs available today.
The company also extends its double-check feature to more than 40 languages to help users corroborate Bard's responses. By clicking the "G" icon, users trigger Bard to search the web for content that supports or contradicts its generated answers. This tool allows users to click on highlighted phrases to explore the underlying sources directly.
In addition to these text-based upgrades, Bard now offers free image generation in English across most countries. Powered by the updated Imagen 2 model, this feature produces high-quality, photorealistic images based on simple text descriptions. Users simply type a prompt to receive custom visuals, with the feature designed to balance both speed and image quality.
