Google Cloud Next Unveils AI Translation Hub and Vertex AI Vision Tools
Google reveals new AI products at its Cloud Next keynote, including a document translation service that preserves formatting and a no-code vision platform. These tools aim to help businesses automate complex tasks and streamline content creation.
Google kicks off its Cloud Next conference by unveiling Translation Hub, a new AI tool that translates entire documents into 135 languages while preserving the original layout and style. The service leverages the underlying technology of Google Translate to help businesses avoid the high costs and slow turnaround times associated with traditional human translation services.
The platform includes a built-in correction interface that assigns confidence scores to each translated sentence, allowing human reviewers to quickly spot and fix potential errors. This hybrid approach combines the speed of AI with the accuracy of human oversight to ensure high-quality multilingual documents.
Google also introduces Vertex AI Vision, a no-code extension of its Vertex AI platform that focuses specifically on computer vision tasks. Users build and manage AI vision applications through an easy-to-use interface, utilizing pretrained models to stream data directly into their preferred management tools without writing a single line of code.
