Companies like L'Oreal already rely on Vertex AI to power virtual beauty product "try-on" tools for their customers.
At the Data Cloud Summit, Google introduces three new data products to help organizations extract more value from their information. Dataplex enables centralized management and governance of data across multiple systems, while Datastream allows companies to replicate data in real-time with minimal latency. Additionally, Analytics Hub provides a secure way to share data and analytics models across different organizational boundaries.
In a push toward sustainability, Google details a new next-generation geothermal project with Fervo that brings carbon-free energy to the grid powering its Nevada data centers. This initiative utilizes fiber-optic cables inside wells to monitor geothermal resource performance and moves Google closer to its 2030 goal of operating on 24/7 carbon-free energy. Furthermore, Google continues to educate developers on hybrid cloud application modernization through a new video series focusing on Anthos basics.
