Google Cloud Unveils Vertex AI to Streamline Machine Learning Operations
Google Cloud introduces Vertex AI, a unified machine learning platform designed to help businesses build and deploy AI models faster. The new service significantly reduces required coding and consolidates various ML tools into a single interface.
Google Cloud launches Vertex AI, a managed machine learning platform designed to accelerate the deployment and maintenance of artificial intelligence models. This unified platform requires nearly 80 percent fewer lines of code to train a model compared to competitive platforms, empowering data scientists and ML engineers of all skill levels to implement Machine Learning Operations efficiently throughout the entire development lifecycle.
The new platform addresses a major industry challenge by replacing the need to manually piece together separate ML point solutions. Vertex AI brings Google Cloud's various ML services together under a single unified user interface and API, which simplifies the process of building, training, and deploying machine learning models at scale and allows teams to move models from experimentation to production much faster.
Vertex AI gives customers direct access to the internal AI toolkit used to power Google, featuring tools for computer vision, language, conversation, and structured data. The platform includes new MLOps features like Vertex Vizier for faster experimentation, a fully managed Vertex Feature Store for sharing ML features, and Vertex Experiments to accelerate model selection and deployment into production.
