Google announces an additional $9 billion investment in Oklahoma over the next two years to expand cloud and artificial intelligence infrastructure. This financial commitment includes the development of a brand new data center campus in Stillwater and the significant expansion of an existing facility in Pryor.
As part of a broader $1 billion commitment to American education, the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University join the inaugural Google AI for Education Accelerator. Students at these institutions receive no-cost access to Google Career Certificates and specialized AI training courses to build critical job-ready skills.
Google also provides funding to the electrical training ALLIANCE to increase Oklahoma's electrical workforce pipeline by 135%. These combined investments prepare local students with essential AI skills and create the necessary labor force to power both Oklahoma's future and America's overall leadership in artificial intelligence.
