The worker sit-ins are led by the activist group No Tech For Apartheid, which has been organizing Google employees against Project Nimbus since its signing in 2021. These tech workers demand the right to know exactly how their labor is utilized, expressing deep fear that the technology they build is being used to cause harm amid Israel's devastating military offensive in Gaza.
