Google Workspace Introduces Voice Features, Image App, and Personal AI Agent
Google Workspace rolls out conversational voice tools for Gmail and Docs, a new image creation app called Google Pics, and a 24/7 AI agent named Gemini Spark. These updates aim to help subscribers create and manage tasks more efficiently.
Google unveils major updates to its Workspace platform, introducing conversational voice capabilities across Gmail, Docs, and Keep. Users now interact with their documents and emails using spoken commands, allowing them to brainstorm and organize thoughts without typing. A new feature called Gmail Live enables people to ask questions out loud about their inbox, such as inquiring about flight details or school events, and instantly receive synthesized answers.
In addition to voice tools, Google launches Google Pics, a dedicated application for generating and editing images with high precision. The platform caters to both everyday creative needs and professional design projects. Furthermore, the AI Inbox feature expands its availability to Google AI Plus and Pro subscribers, offering enhanced tools to help users manage overwhelming email volumes and stay on top of critical communications.
The most significant addition is Gemini Spark, a 24/7 personal AI agent that lives inside the Gemini app. This assistant helps users navigate their digital lives by taking specific actions on their behalf under direct supervision. Because it integrates seamlessly with Google Workspace applications, Gemini Spark acts as a continuous, proactive helper for business customers and AI subscribers looking to streamline their daily workflows.
