Halo Neuroscience unveils the Halo Sport 2 at CES 2019 as the second generation of its brain-stimulating headphones. The biggest update to the device is the addition of wireless Bluetooth audio, which replaces the hardwired connection found in the first generation. Co-founder Dr. Daniel Chao notes that Bluetooth is the most requested feature from previous users.
The company significantly reduces the price of the device from approximately $1,000 to $399, with an early bird price of $299. The headphones also feature a redesigned one-piece spiky contact strip that users easily remove and wash for better hygiene. This new design makes the neuropriming technology much more accessible to everyday consumers.
Halo Sport 2 uses neuropriming to deliver electrical brain stimulation during workouts and enhance athletic performance. The device ships to customers in early April 2019. This latest release marks a major step forward in making brain stimulation a practical tool for athletes and fitness enthusiasts.
