Jensen Huang Says Nvidia Can Grow Revenue 70% Next Year
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang says his company's record-breaking growth will continue through the end of next year, reiterating at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia + Technology conference that revenue could grow 70% year over year. Analysts expect Nvidia to close its current fiscal year at about $400 billion, so that growth would put next year's revenue near $680 billion. Huang expresses full confidence in the outlook, which he first shared when the company reported its latest record quarter last month.
Huang pushes back against the perception that Nvidia simply builds chips, noting that the company faces mounting competition from hyperscalers like Amazon, Microsoft, and Google, AI labs such as Anthropic and OpenAI, and rivals like Cerebras and Etched. He says one modern GPU is no longer a $399 product but an $8.5 million system with 2 million parts, connected by NVLink and drawing 250,000 kilowatts. He adds that orders for a system combining 36 Grace CPUs with 72 Blackwell GPUs are currently growing 27% month over month.
The CEO attributes his confidence to Nvidia's deep embedding across the entire AI ecosystem, saying the company runs every model from every major lab, including open-weight offerings. Nvidia's reach extends from suppliers like memory chip makers to data center projects and startups, and Huang says the company is tracking every gigawatt of land, power, and data center shell around the world. He describes Nvidia as a foundational platform of the AI industry, positioned to see where demand is heading before anyone else.
