Lightricks Brings AI Image Generation to Photoleap and Motionleap Apps
Lightricks introduces a new "Text to Image" feature in its popular photo and video editing apps, allowing users to create AI-generated art directly from text prompts. The new tool leverages Stable Diffusion technology and gives users full ownership of their creations.
Lightricks, the Israel-based startup known for popular mobile editing apps like Facetune, launches a new "Text to Image" generator within Photoleap and Motionleap. Users now create AI-generated artwork by typing text prompts directly into the apps. The company leverages open source Stable Diffusion technology to power this new creative feature.
To use the tool, users click "Generate AI Image" and type a prompt or select a pre-written suggestion like "a purple fox, by Van Gogh." After the AI generates the image, users seamlessly edit and animate the results using the apps' existing tools, which include layering, filters, and 3D motion effects. This integration gives Lightricks an advantage over dedicated AI art apps that lack comprehensive photo editing capabilities.
The "Text to Image" feature is free to use and grants users full ownership of their generated images. Free users download unlimited standard-quality files, while Pro subscribers receive up to 100 higher-quality downloads per month. Lightricks enforces content moderation by blocking NSFW prompts to keep the generated art appropriate for its massive user base.
