To support this massive undertaking, Meta is aggressively expanding its computing infrastructure by acquiring hundreds of thousands of advanced AI chips. By the end of 2024, the company plans to operate around 350,000 Nvidia H100 GPUs, totaling approximately 600,000 H100 equivalents when including other graphics processing units in its cloud facilities.
