Azure customers can now fine-tune and deploy the 7B, 13B, and 70B-parameter Llama 2 models safely on Microsoft's AI supercomputing platform. Developers leverage Azure AI's robust tooling for model training, fine-tuning, inference, and AI safety capabilities. Additionally, Windows developers can run Llama 2 locally by targeting the DirectML execution provider through the ONNX Runtime.
This latest announcement builds on a long-standing relationship between the two companies, which previously included integrating ONNX Runtime with PyTorch. By adding Llama 2 to its ecosystem, Microsoft further cements Azure's position as a leading supercomputing platform for AI and pushes Windows forward as a premier environment for building generative AI applications.
