Microsoft Unifies AI Tools Under Single Copilot Experience

Microsoft unveils Microsoft Copilot, a unified everyday AI companion that brings together separate AI tools previously scattered across GitHub, Microsoft 365, Bing, and Windows. This consolidation allows users to interact with technology using natural language to ask questions, create content, or complete tasks across a single, seamless interface.
The new Copilot incorporates context from the web, work data, and current PC activity to deliver highly relevant assistance while keeping privacy and security at the forefront. Users access the feature easily within Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Edge, and Bing, either as a standalone app or through a simple right-click when they need immediate help.
The rollout begins with the free Windows 11 update starting September 26 and expands to Bing, Edge, and Microsoft 365 Copilot throughout the fall. Alongside this launch, Microsoft releases over 150 new Windows 11 features that inject AI capabilities into familiar apps like Paint and Photos, while Bing integrates the latest OpenAI DALL.E 3 model for enhanced image generation.
