Because of this high expense, Midjourney limits the feature exclusively to paid Pro and Mega plans, explicitly noting that casual users making videos for fun should avoid the costly setting.
Users can easily activate the HD mode directly on the Midjourney website by clicking the settings button next to the prompt bar and selecting the "HD" option under "Video Resolution."
