After the initial free credits run out, users must choose between a $10 per month plan for 200 images or a $30 per month standard membership for unlimited use. The only catch is that all prompts and image generation happen entirely within Discord, meaning users need a free Discord account to participate. To create art, users simply join a "newbies" channel within the Midjourney Discord server and type "/imagine" followed by their desired text prompt.
