Alongside the mobile launch, Mistral introduces a Pro subscription tier priced at $14.99 per month. This paid plan grants users access to the company's highest-performing model, increased usage limits, and the ability to opt out of data sharing. Free users still receive a capable assistant, but the pay-or-consent model ensures that top-tier performance requires a paid subscription.
Le Chat now boasts several advanced features, including web search with citations, image generation, and a canvas mode for editing text or code. A recent partnership with Agence France-Presse helps ground results with reliable news sources. However, the mobile app currently lacks a voice mode for users who prefer speaking their queries, leaving a notable gap in its feature set compared to some competitors.
