Netgear's Meural Unveils Sleeker, Modular Smart Art Display

Meural unveils its new 3.0 smart art display under Netgear ownership, focusing on a sleeker design and a smaller 21.5-inch size. This new model aims to provide a more affordable entry point into digital art framing and allows users to create multi-display gallery layouts alongside the existing 27-inch version. The screens come in black, white, light wood, and dark wood finishes to match various home decors.
A major upgrade to the latest generation is the introduction of modularity, allowing users to easily swap out the frame styles if their interior design preferences change. Under the hood, the device features 8GB of memory, 2GB of RAM, and a quad-core 1.8 GHz processor. Netgear also upgrades the WiFi chipset for more stable performance and makes the display 20 percent more energy efficient than previous models.
Meural continues to expand its subscription-based art library by adding collections from National Geographic, Norman Rockwell, and The Little Prince. The company does not yet finalize pricing or a specific release date for the new hardware, though the previous generation starts at $595. Despite the hardware updates, the device remains strictly focused on delivering a high-quality canvas for viewing digital artwork.
