NVIDIA introduces DRIVE AutoPilot at CES 2019 as the world's first commercially available Level 2+ automated driving system. This new platform combines NVIDIA's DRIVE Xavier SoC with DRIVE Software to bring advanced AI-powered driving features to production vehicles scheduled to ship in 2020.
The system enables a variety of intelligent capabilities, including highway autopilot and comprehensive surround perception. It also utilizes interior cameras for driver monitoring and supports augmented reality-enhanced heads-up displays to keep drivers safely informed.
DRIVE Xavier delivers an impressive 30 TOPS of processing power while operating at just 30 watts. To ensure smooth integration into future vehicles, NVIDIA partners with major Tier 1 suppliers Continental and ZF Friedrichshafen.
