NVIDIA invests $2 billion in CoreWeave to accelerate the construction of over 5 gigawatts of AI factories by 2030. The expanded partnership focuses on deepening infrastructure and software alignment to meet surging global demand for AI compute.
NVIDIA and CoreWeave expand their long-standing partnership to accelerate the construction of more than 5 gigawatts of AI factories by 2030. As part of this deepened collaboration, NVIDIA invests $2 billion in CoreWeave Class A common stock at $87.20 per share. This significant financial move reflects NVIDIA’s strong confidence in CoreWeave’s business model, team, and overall growth strategy as a specialized cloud platform.
The two companies plan to leverage NVIDIA’s financial strength to speed up CoreWeave’s procurement of land, power, and physical shells for these massive new facilities. CoreWeave builds and operates these AI factories using NVIDIA’s leading accelerated computing platform technology to meet exploding customer demand. Additionally, the partnership involves early adoption of future NVIDIA computing architectures, including the upcoming NVIDIA Rubin platform, Vera CPUs, and BlueField storage systems.
Beyond hardware, the collaboration focuses heavily on software integration and validation. The companies work to test and validate CoreWeave’s AI-native software and reference architecture to unlock deeper interoperability. Ultimately, they aim to include these CoreWeave software offerings within NVIDIA’s official reference architectures for cloud partners and enterprise customers, driving the AI industrial revolution forward.
