NVIDIA Posts Record $7.1 Billion Revenue Driven by Gaming and Data Center Growth

NVIDIA reports record revenue of $7.10 billion for the third quarter of fiscal 2022, marking a 50 percent increase from the previous year. The tech giant sees significant growth across its core platforms, with Data Center revenue hitting $2.94 billion and Gaming revenue reaching $3.22 billion. This strong financial performance reflects a 9 percent increase from the previous quarter.
CEO Jensen Huang attributes this outstanding quarter to a surging demand for NVIDIA AI across hyperscale and cloud environments. He notes that more than 25,000 companies now adopt NVIDIA's AI technology, while the RTX platform continues to reinvent computer graphics for gamers, creators, and professionals building home workstations.
Huang also highlights the NVIDIA Omniverse platform as a major theme for the company's future, showcasing its potential for collaborative design, digital twins, and virtual world interactions. Alongside these growth initiatives, NVIDIA maintains its shareholder returns by paying $100 million in quarterly cash dividends and announcing a upcoming dividend of $0.04 per share.
