The tech giant sees this massive growth as Gaming, Data Center, and Professional Visualization platforms each achieve record revenue for both the quarter and the full fiscal year.
Earnings also surge significantly as GAAP earnings per diluted share reach a record $1.18, up 103 percent from the previous year. For the full fiscal 2022, total revenue hits a record $26.91 billion, representing a 61 percent increase, while full-year GAAP earnings per share jump 123 percent to $3.85.
CEO Jensen Huang attributes this exceptional demand to NVIDIA's pivotal role in advancing AI, digital biology, climate sciences, and autonomous vehicles. The company enters the new year with strong momentum and expanding software business models like NVIDIA AI and Omniverse, while continuing to return value to shareholders through quarterly cash dividends.
