Nvidia Smashes Q3 Expectations With 94% Revenue Surge
Nvidia reports $35.1 billion in third-quarter revenue, easily beating Wall Street forecasts as its data center business continues to boom.
Nvidia delivers exceptional third-quarter results with $35.1 billion in revenue, marking a 94% increase from the same period last year. The company also reports a massive profit of $19.3 billion, which represents a 109% year-over-year jump, while GAAP earnings per share reach $0.78, up 111% from last year.
The data center division drives this impressive growth by generating $30.8 billion in revenue, easily surpassing analyst estimates of roughly $28 billion. On the earnings call, CEO Jensen Huang confirms that production of the highly anticipated Blackwell chips is in full steam and that the company delivers more of these new chips this quarter than expected.
Despite the overwhelmingly positive financial report, Nvidia shares experience a slight 2% drop in after-hours trading as investors harvest gains following the stock's 200% rise since the start of the year. However, the company proves its continued growth trajectory by beating expectations across all fronts, easing previous investor concerns about potential production delays.
