NVIDIA Smashes Records with $30 Billion Q2 Revenue Driven by AI

NVIDIA reports record second-quarter revenue of $30 billion, fueled by massive demand for data center AI infrastructure. The company also announces a massive $50 billion share repurchase authorization.

NVIDIA reports record revenue of $30.0 billion for the second quarter of fiscal 2025, marking a 122% increase from the same period last year. Data Center revenue drives this massive growth, reaching $26.3 billion and jumping 154% year-over-year as global facilities rush to upgrade their computing stacks with accelerated AI infrastructure.

CEO Jensen Huang attributes this explosive growth to the ongoing strong demand for Hopper architecture chips and incredible anticipation for the upcoming Blackwell generation. The company currently ships Blackwell samples to partners and sees significant scale in its new Spectrum-X Ethernet and AI Enterprise software products, solidifying its position as a full-stack data center platform.

In addition to its impressive operational earnings, NVIDIA returns $15.4 billion to shareholders through buybacks and dividends in the first half of the fiscal year. The Board of Directors further approves an additional $50.0 billion in share repurchase authorization with no expiration date, demonstrating strong confidence in the company's ongoing financial health.
