NVIDIA Unveils Omniverse Enterprise for Real-Time 3D Collaboration
NVIDIA announces the general availability of Omniverse Enterprise, a platform that allows geographically dispersed 3D design teams to collaborate in a shared virtual space. The platform eliminates the need for massive file exchanges by enabling simultaneous remote work on complex projects.
NVIDIA officially announces the general availability of Omniverse Enterprise, a first-of-its-kind platform that enables global 3D design teams to collaborate in real time within a shared virtual space. This technology allows geographically dispersed professionals to work seamlessly together on complex projects without the need for in-person meetings or exchanging massive files.
The platform consists of several key components, including the Omniverse Nucleus server for database management and Omniverse Connectors that plugin to popular industry design applications. It also features two end-user applications: Omniverse Create for scene composition and Omniverse View for collaborative architectural visualization, all powered by NVIDIA RTX Virtual Workstation software.
Major companies like BMW Group, Foster + Partners, and WPP already evaluate the platform for their sophisticated design needs. Optimized for NVIDIA RTX laptops, desktops, and NVIDIA-Certified Systems, the scalable tool builds on decades of NVIDIA research to simulate shared virtual 3D worlds that obey the laws of physics and bring the concept of the metaverse closer to reality.
