NVIDIA Unveils Over 160 RTX Laptops and Mainstream Desktop GPUs at CES
NVIDIA expands its GeForce RTX lineup with more than 160 new laptops featuring flagship 3080 Ti and 3070 Ti mobile GPUs, alongside an accessible $249 RTX 3050 desktop card.
NVIDIA announces a massive expansion of its GeForce RTX lineup at CES, revealing over 160 new thin-and-light laptops equipped with RTX 30 Series GPUs. These portable powerhouses include the flagship GeForce RTX 3080 Ti laptop GPU, which brings 16GB of GDDR6 memory to mobile PCs and delivers performance that surpasses the desktop TITAN RTX. The company also introduces the RTX 3070 Ti laptop GPU, providing high frame rates at 1440p resolution for content creators and gamers.
The new laptops leverage a fourth generation of Max-Q Technologies that uses artificial intelligence to optimally balance CPU and GPU power use, battery discharge, image quality, and frame rates. This intelligent system design enables the thinnest, quietest gaming laptops ever built while delivering up to 70 percent more battery life. These mobile devices are set to hit the market starting February 1, aiming to serve 3 billion gamers worldwide.
In addition to the premium laptops, NVIDIA brings ray tracing and AI capabilities to mainstream desktop users with the new GeForce RTX 3050. Priced at an accessible $249 and featuring 8GB of GDDR6 memory, this GPU allows mass market PCs to run the latest games at 60 frames per second. NVIDIA also teases a "monster" RTX 3090 Ti desktop GPU featuring 24GB of ultra-fast GDDR6X memory and incredible shader performance for the most demanding users.
