Nvidia Unveils Palm-Sized Project DIGITS AI Supercomputer for Desks

Nvidia unveils Project DIGITS, a palm-sized personal AI supercomputer designed to bring enterprise-grade computing power to everyday desks. Announced at the CES consumer electronics show in Las Vegas, the compact device delivers one petaflop of AI performance and launches in May for researchers, data scientists, and students.
The device draws its immense power from the new Nvidia GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip, which integrates advanced GPUs, fifth-generation Tensor Cores, and high-performance Grace CPUs. Each unit features 128 gigabytes of unified memory and up to 4 terabytes of NVMe storage, providing enough resources to run large language models with up to 200 billion parameters.
Users who require even more processing capability can link two Project DIGITS units together to support massive AI models with up to 405 billion parameters. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang states that this initiative focuses on making advanced AI development tools affordable and accessible, enabling anyone to participate in building the future of artificial intelligence.
