NVIDIA Unveils TITAN RTX as World's Most Powerful Desktop GPU

NVIDIA introduces the TITAN RTX, calling it the world's most powerful desktop GPU for AI research, data science, and creative applications. Driven by the new Turing architecture and nicknamed "T-Rex," this powerful hardware delivers 130 teraflops of deep learning performance and 11 GigaRays of ray-tracing performance. Founder and CEO Jensen Huang states that Turing represents NVIDIA's biggest advance in a decade by fusing shaders, ray tracing, and deep learning.
The GPU features 576 multi-precision Tensor Cores, 72 RT Cores, and 24GB of high-speed GDDR6 memory that provides twice the capacity of previous-generation TITAN models. This massive memory bandwidth allows professionals to handle larger neural networks, complex datasets, and real-time 8K video editing with ease. Additionally, the inclusion of 100GB/s NVLink technology enables users to pair two TITAN RTX GPUs to scale memory and compute even further.
This hardware transforms the standard PC into a supercomputer tailored for AI researchers, deep learning developers, and data scientists. The multi-precision Turing Tensor Cores support FP32, FP16, INT8, and INT4 calculations to accelerate the training and inference of neural networks.
